What cookies are
A cookie is a small file or identifier stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels, tags) can do much the same job. Some are needed for the site to work; others are only used if you agree to them.

Since 5 September 2026, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure traffic: this tool sets no cookie or identifier, does not track visitors across sites, and therefore does not require your consent. Google Analytics 4 is not currently active on this site; if it is switched on in future, it will only run after you consent through the cookie banner. YouTube videos never load automatically: they are only loaded when you explicitly click to play a specific video.
Your consent
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse the non-essential cookies. Refusing is as easy as accepting. No audience-measurement cookies are set before you choose; simply carrying on browsing does not count as consent.
Changing your choice
You can set your browser to block or delete cookies, or clear this site's data in your browser settings so the consent banner appears again. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working. You can also write to us at contact@francois-lidove.com with any question about your choice.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google, YouTube, Cloudflare or their sub-processors may process some data outside the European Economic Area. The safeguards covering those transfers are described in the privacy policy.
